Professor Kwan Hoi-shan

Professor Kwan Hoi-shan is the Professor of the School of Life Sciences of the Chinese University of Hong Kong . His research interests range from food and nutritional science, food microbiology to molecular biotechnology. He is also actively involved in promoting the advancement of food technology and accreditation development in local food industry. He has been the Chairman of the Expert Committee on Food Safety since 2006.

Ms. Connie Lau Yin-hing

Ms. Connie Lau, Member of the Expert Committee on Food Safety of the Centre for Food Safety, is the Chief Executive of the Consumer Council of Hong Kong. Ms. Lau is also the Council and Executive Member of the Consumers International, a world federation of consumer bodies as well as the only independent and authoritative global voice for consumers.

Dr. Chan Pui-Kwong

Dr. Chan Pui-Kwong is a medical specialist in community medicine and is in private practice. He is the chairman of the Epidemics Committee of the Hong Kong Doctors Union. He is a member of the Scientific Committee on Enteric Infections and Foodborne Diseases of the Centre for Health Protection, as well as the Expert Committee on Food Safety of the Centre for Food Safety.

Professor Jonathan Wong Woon-chung

Professor Jonathan Wong is the Professor of the Department of Biology of Hong Kong Baptist University . His  research interests are many, including that on organic farming and development of organic standards and certification systems as well as related guidelines. He is a member of the Expert Committee on Food Safety of the Centre for Food Safety.
