Reason for Recall Products may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety

The CFS has been closely monitoring the incident of possible Salmonella contamination of peanut products in the US . According to information of the manufacturer and the local distributor, the affected products have been exported to Hong Kong . The Gift Box product had been on sale in Mannings during the period of Chinese New Year, while the 3-Piece product was sold in Circle K and Vango convenience stores. T he lots bearing the same UPC Codes were no longer on sale in the local market.

The CFS has also alerted the trade and is closely monitoring the situation.

Advice to Consumers Stop consuming the affected products. Dispose of them and thoroughly wash their hands afterwards.
