The affected products are Walkers Crisps with a best before date of “ 17 January 2009 ” and code of “GBL ***306” (the asterisks can be any numbers). Pack formats potentially affected are as follows:

  • Walkers Crisps Standard 34.5g (Flavour: Cheese and Onion, Ready Salted, Salt and Vinegar)
  • Walkers Crisps Big Eat 50g (Flavour: Cheese and Onion)
  • Walkers Crisps 150g (Flavour: Ready Salted, Salt and Vinegar)
  • Walkers Crisps 14-pack (Flavour: Cheese and Onion, Variety)
  • Walkers Crisps 28-pack (Flavour: Cheese and Onion, Variety)
  • Walkers Crisps 24-pack (Flavour: Variety)
Reason for Recall Products might contain yellow rubber pieces.
Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has contacted the UK authorities for further information. The CFS has also informed the trade and is closely monitoring the situation.
