Pesticide Residues in Food Regulation

The Legislative Council has completed its vetting of the Pesticide Residues in Food Regulation (Cap. 132CM) in June 2012. The Regulation will come into operation on 1 August 2014 after a two-year grace period. During the grace period, we will continue to provide further briefings for concerned sectors to prepare them for the commencement of the Regulation.
