Reason for Recall Products may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety

The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has been in close contact with the US authorities in regard to the Salmonella contamination incident in the country. The CFS has alerted the trade of the incident and will continue to closely monitor the situation.

The CFS has collected 29 samples of peanut butter and related products in the local market for testing of Salmonella and all the results are satisfactory.
Advice to the Trade Stop selling the concerned products.
Advice to Consumers Stop consuming the concerned products. Dispose of them and thoroughly wash hands afterwards.
