Recall of Contaminated Raw Oysters in New Zealand

Reason for Recall	Product may have been contaminated with a micro organism that may cause vomiting or diarrhoea.
Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety	The CFS has contacted the New Zealand authorities for more information and alerted the trade. The CFS is closely monitoring the situation.
Advice to the Trade	Stop selling the affected batches of raw oysters.
Advice to Consumers	Consumers who have purchased the affected raw oysters should stop consuming them.
