Reason for Recall
Presence of low level of a metabolite of Nitrofurans. The amount detected was 0.0022ppm. Presence of low level of a metabolite of Nitrofurans. The amount detected was 0.0016ppm.
Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety The sole agents of the concerned products have initiated a recall and stopped selling the affected products. CFS has informed the Mainland authorities of the latest test results and will continue to follow up the case.
