Reason For Issuing Alert | The CFS collected the shrimp sample from an online shop for testing under its routine Food Surveillance Programme. The test result showed that it contained metabolite (AOZ) of furazolidone (a type of nitrofurans), a non-permitted veterinary drug at a level of 9.2 parts per billion. |
