| Reason For Issuing Alert |
- The prepackaged ingredient for making thin pizza was found containing milk protein, a food allergen, without listing the presence on its food label.

| Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety |
- CFS staff have conducted investigations at the concerned shop and other branches of the chain store, and found that the sale of the product has been stopped.
- Warning letters have also been issued to the concerned vendor and the importer. The trade will also be alerted to stop selling the affected product.
- The CFS will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate follow-up actions.

- Stop using or selling the affected batch(es) of the product(s) without proper food label immediately.

| Advice to Consumers |
- Those who are allergic to milk protein may develop symptoms like vomiting, diarrhoea and rash, upon consumption. The severe ones may even develop anaphylactic shock.
- Consumers who had bought the particular product and were allergic to milk protein should stop eating it, regardless of any batches.
- People should seek medical treatment if they feel unwell after eating the food.
