A considerable number of foreign domestic helpers (FDH) have been hired by local families to assist their employers to manage entire housework including cooking meals each day for young and old of the employer's family. It is of paramount importance if the FDH have proper knowledge on food safety or else food poisoning due to improper food handling may happen.

For promoting food safety in local families, the Centre for Food Safety will launch health talks to FDH. The emphasis of the talks are “Five Keys to Food Safety” which introduce simple and yet practical tips to food safety in daily life so as to equip FDH to prepare safe and wholesome food for the families.

Being an employer and consider there is a need to train up your FDH, you are cordially invited to enroll your FDH and release them to attend one of the talks which will be conducted in Indonesian and Cantonese free of charge. The details of the talks are as follows:
