  1. The affected batch of the product is being kept in cold store and has not entered the market. 
  2. Prosecution will be instituted should there be sufficient evidence.
  3. According to Regulation 4A(1) and 5(1AA) of the Food and Drugs (Composition And Labelling) Regulations (Cap 132W), prepackaged food shall be marked and labelled in the manner prescribed in Schedule 3. Any person who advertises for sale, sells or manufactures for sale any prepackaged food which is not marked or labelled in compliance with regulation 4A(1) or 4B(1) commits an offence and is liable to a fine at level 5 and to imprisonment for 6 months.
  4. The CFS will inform the Australian authorities of the incident.
  5. The CFS will inform the concerned importer and continue to follow up on the case and take appropriate action.
