  1. The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has established import protocols for game, meat, poultry or eggs with countries listed above. In line with the international trend, these import protocols have been migrating from a "Country-based" to a "Plant-based" system, with a view to strengthening food traceability. The migration is on-going. Importers should ensure the establishment is on the Approved Plant List should they arrange to import meat and poultry from those countries having a "Plant-based" import protocol for the specific commodity.
  2. The Approved Plant List on this website is subject to periodical updating. Importers may visit CFS's Food Trader Portal for the most up-to-date list Approved Plant List.
