Focus Group Meeting on Public perceptions and attitude on African Swine Fever (ASF)

A focus group discussion among members of the public offered an in-depth insight into what and how members of the public think about the implementation of current control measures on ASF as well as any future optimisation. The discussion also explored how they think and react to the shortage of pork supply.

The discussion collected views of members about the understanding of AMR and their opinions on the publicity. Their comments on the advisory statements highlighting high risk food to be put on menus were also widely discussed.
