Pre-Statutory Voluntary Registration for Frozen / Chilled Game, Meat and Poultry Importers / Distributors
The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) will launch the Game, Meat and Poultry Importers / Distributors Voluntary Registration Scheme on 1 August 2007.
The Pre-Statutory Voluntary Registration Scheme for Frozen / Chilled Game, Meat and Poultry Importers / Distributors will replace the existing Registration of Meat / Poultry Importers required for import licence application as from 1 August 2007. For meat / poultry importers currently registered with the CFS, the validity of their registration will be extended to 31 August 2007 so as to allow sufficient time for them to join the Scheme.
Game, meat and poultry importers / distributors should complete the application form and return it to the CFS for processing as from 1 August 2007.
