Warning on Italian Sausage Products with Possible Salmonella Contamination

Product name and Description

All Daniele brand Italian sausage products containing black pepper, such as:

  • ¡¨Daniele Naturale Salame coated with coarse black pepper 3oz¡¨, and
  • ¡¨Daniele Genoa Salame Pepper 1kg¡¨.

Reason for Recall

The products may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety

The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has alerted the trade to stop selling the affected products. CFS will continue to closely communicate with the US authorities and follow up the incident

Stop selling the affected products.
