All the Slim-Fast Ready To Drink products in cans (11 fl oz/325ml) are being recalled in the USA . The following three affected products were on sale in city'super chain store in the Hong Kong market Slim-Fast Ready To Drink Optima Rich Chocolate Royale (UPC008346037384); Slim-Fast Ready To Drink Optima French Vanilla (UPC008346037414); and Slim-Fast Ready To Drink Optima Strawberries n' cream (UPC008346037438) |
| Reason for Recall | The products may be contaminated with Bacillus cereus. |
| Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety | The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has contacted the US authorities for further information. We have alerted the trade and are monitoring the situation. It is learnt that the supermarket has stopped selling the particular products. |
