The Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department will organize 2015 Food Safety Talk Series on “Hong Kong's Action on Salt and Sugar Reduction” (Public Series) during the period from July to November 2015. The talks will address the effects of salt and sugar intake on health and promote healthy eating with less salt and sugars to the general public and the food trade by providing some practical tips. The talks will also cover other topics such as HACCP and Five Keys to Food Safety. It is hoped that by raising awareness on the importance of food safety and healthy diet, everyone can enjoy food in a safe and healthy way.
There are four sessions of seminars and are free of charge. The seminars will be conducted in Cantonese. Members of the public are welcome to attend. All participants will be awarded a “Certificate of Attendance” and a souvenir.
