Food Safety Talk Series on Hong Kong's Action on Salt and Sugar Reduction

The theme of this year's Food Safety Day is “Hong Kong's Action on Salt and Sugar Reduction”. Echoing the theme, the Centre for Food Safety, in collaboration with the trade, is going to organise a series of food safety talks on related topics during the period from June to December 2015. The talks will address the effects of salt and sugar intake on health and promote healthy eating with less salt and sugars to the general public and the food trade by providing some practical tips. The talks will also cover other topics such as HACCP and Five Keys to Food Safety. It is hoped that by raising awareness on the importance of food safety and healthy diet, everyone can enjoy food in a safe and healthy way.

Talks are conducted in Cantonese and participants will be given a souvenir. Details of talks are listed as follows:
