2016 Food Safety Talk Series on

The theme of this year's Food Safety Day is "Hong Kong's Action on Salt and Sugar Reduction: Healthy cooking starts small". Echoing the theme, the Centre for Food Safety is going to hold a series of talks to public on related topics during the period from August to November 2016. The talks will promote the benefits of reducing dietary intake of salt and sugar to the public, and provide some simple and practical tips to help the public adopt a healthy eating habit with less salt and sugar in daily life. The talks will also cover other topics such as HACCP and Five Keys to Food Safety. It is hoped that by raising awareness on the importance of food safety and healthy diet, everyone can enjoy food in a safe and healthy way.

There are four sessions of talks and are free of charge. The talks will be conducted in Cantonese. Members of the public are welcome to attend. All participants will be awarded a "Certificate of Attendance" and a souvenir.
