Sugar Reduction

Sugar reduction is a shared responsibility amongst government, trade and consumers. Government and stakeholders are working hand in hand with consultation of the International Advisory Panel to reduce the amount of sugar in foods through:

  1. Product reformulation;
  2. Create enabling environment; and
  3. Consumer education.
