The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) today (January 30) received information from the US authorities which clarified that one of the lot codes of organic peanut granola bars suspected of being contaminated with Salmonella should be "28JUL09", and not "28JUN09" as announced yesterday.

Details of the affected product are as follows:

Unit UPC Code: 0-35742 15483-4

"The CFS has alerted the trade to stop selling the product with the clarified lot codes and is closely monitoring the situation," a CFS spokesman said.
